Ask HN: Does Apple not care about fake apps in the App Store?

As the author of an open source desktop app, I've been facing issues with a fake 'pro version' of my app being sold on the Apple App Store. This version, which doesn't even exist for iOS, uses my app's name and icon. I've reported it to Apple, but they seem to have done little to address the issue. Has anyone else experienced this? What steps can be taken to effectively report and combat fake apps?
