Genuine question. I see jobs posted here from $3k to $20k for what reads like the same scope. For those doing MVP work for non-technical founders: fixed price or weekly? And how do you handle the 'one more small thing' avalanche after delivery?

Weekly rate + a hard scope doc. Fixed price for founders is a trap — they don't know what they want yet, and that's fine, but you can't price uncertainty.

$8-12k for a real MVP, anything under $5k and I'm quietly cutting corners I'd rather not.

I do fixed for the v1 slice (ruthlessly small) then weekly. The v1 price is mostly buying trust.
